This is a very unique family house which has featured in a number of glossy magazines. It sleeps 12 comfortably in 5 double bedrooms and 1 twin room.  It has 2 ensuite bedrooms and 2 further bathrooms. It has another single room but it is only suitable for a child as it is the dressing room of Bedroom 1 (see gallery).

The main house is either available on its own, or for groups of up to 20, can be taken with the cottage (see link) which is very close by and works well for another family, grandparents etc.

There is a barn which is available for family dinners and gatherings.  It has a separate kitchen, shower, loos, etc.  It also has a ping pong table and table football etc.

It has been used for photo shoots in the past, for workshops and for family dinners etc.  We have our own trestle tables and chairs and can seat 20/30.   It is NOT suitable for large events such as weddings.

The house comprises of:

  • Extensive outdoor eating areas

  • 6 bedrooms

  • 2 Ensuite bathrooms

  • 2 further bathrooms

  • 2 downstairs loos

  • TV Room/playroom with access to gardens

  • Dining Room

  • Large drawing room

  • Further sitting room with TV off the kitchen

The Cottage

The charming self contained cottage is approximately 100m from the main house and is perfect for accommodating overflow - our clients often use it for Grandparents/visiting families etc.  It sleeps 6/8  in 3 bedrooms. Click here to find out more (www.thecottageatchurchfarm.com)

Swimming Pool

The large heated pool (approx May to September) also has a changing room, loo and hot shower together with a kitchen which is fully equipped with crockery, glasses, hob and dishwasher etc so that entertaining down by the pool is easy and great fun.  The table can seat up to 18.  There is also an open fireplace by the table which is lovely on cooler summer evenings.

Tennis Court

The asphalt tennis court can be used all year round.  It is surrounded by soft netting so it merges beautifully into the surrounding countryside.

Tennis rackets and balls are NOT supplied.

Reviews

“Church Farm is welcoming and cosy yet large enough to hold big family gatherings with ease. The grounds are breathtaking, as are the stunning surroundings.

My entire family loves Church Farm more and more with each visit “

We live in California . . after a couple of visits, two of our daughters announced that they wanted to get married from Church Farm! I think that sums up how much we love it

Location

The house is in a very rural valley in the South Downs National Park. The hamlet of Priors Dean has only  six houses, a Norman church and lots of fields and rolling hills. Despite sounding remote, we are within walking distance from two of the nicest country pubs you could possibly find (both serve great food). We are equidistant from Petersfield and Alton, but we tend to only go to the former (it's an hour on the train to London). Then we are 40 minutes from Chichester and the seaside. The beautiful historic city of Winchester is also half an hour away.  The charming town of Alresford with its exceptional array of eclectic shops is 20 minutes away.
